I have more than two decades of experience in brand management. I have been product manager, brand identity and packaging design director, senior project manager, customer service director and global business manager. Now I've been a strategic partner of A Equipa since 2013. Oh, and I'm happy doing what I do.
A team that can always grow. We have a base structure with vast experience in the market, lots of enthusiasm and a giant capability for achievement - the core, as we like to call. This core teams up with other resources, chosen and assembled according to the need of the project.
PEOPLE
A teamwork signed by all.
The success of our projects lies in the union of the creative talents that we manage and in the involvement of customers, with their know-how of the business and the Marketplace. A working method to design the best solutions creative, made by many hands.
A EQUIPA is the result of the union of professionals with extensive experience in the development and management of brands, in the strategic and creative areas, which bring together the most suitable talents for each project.
I was born in Lisbon, where I studied Management at ISEG. I lived in Belgium where I took another degree in International Marketing. I started by managing the Portugal Communication Campaign abroad at ICEP (today AICEP) in the early 90's. In 1995 I was challenged to be part of the NovoDesign team, where I worked with numerous clients as emblematic as Telecel/Vodafone, Galp, CP , Nestlé, Compal, Sumol, Jumbo /Auchan or Navigator. I was Commercial Director at MaisDesign and returned to NovoDesign, then Brandia, as Customer Service Director and, later, Unit General Manager. From 2007 to 2012 I was Global Business Manager at Shift Thinkers, responsible for the Portuguese and Angolan markets.
I am also a pilates instructor, trained by Polestar Internacional. I try to help students to have a better posture, gaining quality of life. For brands, my focus is the same: to provide a long, happy and healthy life.
I am an entrepreneur by nature, with a passion and experience in marketing, operations and business development. After graduating I went through advertising agencies as a project manager at national and international level (Angola and Cape Verde). I am the most recent project manager at A Equipa. And I'm not just talking about my age.
I was born in Lisbon. I graduated in Marketing and Advertising from IADE – Creative University. I lived in London and Cape Verde, where I created a marketing department in a nautical centre. I like to stay afloat, so I have a local license and a diving license.
I founded a startup in the field of catering. I teach at the ETIC and EDIT professional schools in the area of Business Development and entrepreneurship. I'm rarely found sitting down, I prefer to balance on a surfboard or skateboard. If you ask my friends, I am the “where to have dinner and what to do in Lisbon” section of the group.
For over 30 years I have tried to do well what I know and what I like: to communicate ideas through images. I never tried to have a style, because I believe that each project should have a unique approach, and I both use my own skills and guide professionals with different profiles and abilities from mine, in search of the best solutions. Skilled in spotting talent, I've managed and worked with many of the best teams in the country. Leading a branding-oriented company with a modular structure that is adaptable to each challenge is the natural result of my path.
I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, where I graduated in Communication and Marketing. Then I went through the graphic department of Esprit de Corp while studying Graphic Design at the San Francisco Academy of Arts in California. The Mac Classic was not a classic yet. In 1988 I discovered Portugal as the best place in the world to live, and I maintain that opinion. Here I had the opportunity to create and manage numerous national and international brands, working at Massa Cinzenta, Novodesign, Central de Comunicação and at Brandia Central. For 12 years I was at the head of the Clube de Criativos de Portugal, also integrating the direction of the Art Directors Club of Europe.
To move my body and clear my mind, I usually cycle on the trails of the Sintra mountain range. To avoid falls and the resulting injuries, I look at the path at some distance, assess the terrain, identify the dangers and focus on the best route. Just like in creative challenges. It's true that sometimes I crash, but only those who don't take risks don't fall.
