I have the experience of more than two decades in Brand management. I've been product manager, brand identity and design packaging director, senior project lead, director of customer care and global business manager. I've been A Equipa's strategic partner since 2013. And I’m quite happy doing what I do.
A team that can always grow. We have a basic core with a vast market experience, a lot of enthusiasm and a huge capacity for achievement. This core teams up with other resources, chosen and brought together according to each project's needs.

A team effort signed by all.
The success of our projects relies in the unity of the creative talents we manage along with the clients’ engagement, with their business and market know-how. A work methodology to design the best creative results, made by many.

I was born in Lisbon, and it’s where I studied Management at ISEG. I lived in Belgium, where I took another bachelor's in International Marketing. I started by running the Portuguese Communication Campaign abroad at ICEP (today AICEP) at the beginning of the 90s. In 1995, I was challenged to be part of the Novodesign team, where I worked with numerous clients as relevant as Telecel/Vodafone, Galp, CP, Nestlé, Compal, Sumol, Jumbo/Auchan or Navigator. After being the Commercial director to MaisDesign, I returned to NovoDesign, then known as Brandia, as Customer Care director, and after that, Unit General Manager. From 2007 to 2012, I was Global Business manager for Shift Thinkers, in charge of the Portuguese and Angolan markets.
I’m also a Pilates instructor, trained by Polestar International. My goal is to help students have a better posture, so they can gain better quality of life. For brands my focus is the same: providing a long, happy and healthy life.
I’m an entrepreneur by nature, with an experience and a passion for marketing, operations and business development. Since my graduation, I've been project manager for several advertising agencies, both national and international (Angola and Cape Verde). I’m A Equipa’s most recent project manager. And by that I don't mean just my age.
I was born in Lisbon. I graduated in Marketing and Advertising at IADE – Faculdade de Design, Tecnologia e Comunicação. I lived in London and Cape Verde, where I created a marketing department for a nautical center. I like to keep afloat so I have local skipper and diving licenses.
I launched a startup in the restaurant business. I lecture Business Development and entrepreneurship at ETIC and EDIT professional schools It will be hard to find me sitting down, as I much more rather be balancing on surf or skate boards. If you ask my friends, I’m the ‘Where to Have Dinner and What to Do in Lisbon’ member of the group.
For more than 30 years I have pursued to be good what I know and what I like: to communicate ideas through imagery. I’ve never sought a particular style, as I believe that each project should have a unique approach. I rely on my own skills, as well as guide professionals with profiles and skill sets different from mine, with a constant focus on the best solutions. I’m skilled at spotting talent, and have directed and worked with many of the best teams in Portugal. Running a business targeting branding with a modular and adaptable structure to each challenge is the natural path for me.
I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, where I graduated in Communication and Marketing Next, I was in the graphic department for Esprit de Corp while studying Graphic Design at San Francisco Academy of Arts in California. At the time the Mac Classic wasn't a classic yet. In 1988 I discovered that Portugal was the best place in the world to live, and I’m yet to change my mind. Here I had the opportunity to create and manage many national and international brands, by working at Massa Cinzenta, NovoDesign, Central de Comunicação and Brandia Central. I led Clube de Criativos de Portugal for 12 years, and was on the board of the Art Directors Club of Europe.
For getting my body moving and clearing the mind, I usually ride on the bike tracks of the Sintra mountain range. To avoid falls and the resulting bruises, I look at the track at some distance, evaluate the terrain, identify the dangers, and focus on the best track alternative. Just like with creative challenges. It's true that sometimes I fall, but only those who don’t take risks don’t fall.
The precocious white hair denounces a career of over 20 years in Design & Advertising, with experience on both sides of the trenches. After working for some prestigious national agencies, I moved to the wine industry to fill the glass with creativity. For over a decade I created countless brands and labels, while also being responsible for their positioning in the UK and Scandinavian markets.
My birth certificate states that I was born in Lisbon, although I strongly identify with British culture where I descend from. That took me to London in the turn of the millennium. I returned tired of rain but graduated in Digital Arts & Advertising by the London College of Music & Media. Since then I’ve been working for the world, took a Digital Art Director course at Edit, and am now certified in Wine & Spirits by the Wine & Spirits Education Trust.
I am a good listener but also make myself heard. The “psychotherapist” of the group of friends. My energy is spent and earned in Guincho, pedalling hard on a single speed. Rain or shine. An avid collector of good moments, with a good soundtrack and preferably shared, as all brands desire.
